Currently, I’m one-man design department for Thomson Reuters video assets, supporting syndicated news agency content, packaged video, Reuters TV app content across multiple platforms, partner content, special features, live programming, studio assets and day-of-air graphics in New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, London and Hong Kong.
I’ve had the good fortune to work at award-winning news venues, and have taken home awards from the Society of News Design (2017), a Webby (2019), Reuters Journalist of the Year (2018) and placed as finalist for the Gerald Loeb Awards (2019). These special projects continue to circulate online, in addition to the animated assets I've designed for news packages, post-production packages (top, tail, L3s, slates, stings, interstitials; etc), live events, studio recordings, templated assets for pr/editor distribution (Apple and Adobe workflow), playing tech support, and coordinating with our international offices. In addition to those design duties, I’ve produced and edited audio and video for special projects, podcasts, and in-house pilots.
I'm happiest in a busy newsroom, and am always looking for new challenges in the sphere of visual storytelling.
